My License is Suspended, How Do I Fix It?

As a Maryland traffic ticket attorney, I get this question multiple times a week. The answer is that it depends on the reason for the suspension. More often than not, it is an unpaid ticket. If this is the issue, you have to get the citation number (s) for your ticket (s), and pay it at the District Court’s Clerk’s Office. Once its paid, go to the MVA, show them that the ticket is resolved, and they will renstate you. If you don’t know why you are suspended, the MVA can tell you. Just ask.

Of course, there are a variety of other and more complicated reasons for a license suspension. More on that later….
