If you’ve recently been charged in Maryland and are facing a DUI/DWI charge, don’t give up (even if there was high breath result!).
In Maryland, just because you “failed” the breath test or blew a very high result, does not mean that all is lost. Having a Maryland drunk driving or dui attorney properly analyze the facts of the case and the sequence of events could still earn you a “not-guilty” verdict. You may even be able to get the charges reduced. This could be the difference between jail time and facing minimal consequences. Also, there are certain legal defenses which do not even consider the breath result. Many times, the police officer did not have “reasonable suspicion” to stop your car. If that’s the situation, your entire case may be “thrown out” even before the judge hears the rest of the evidence.
Facing a Maryland DUI or DWI charge? Call me, I have handled thousands of them.
